You receive the agreed deliverables, including source code and documentation for development projects. Ideally, we work in your repository from the start. We agree usage rights for custom deliverables in the engagement terms. Existing tools, reusable components and third-party licences are disclosed upfront.

We use synthetic sample data for initial experiments. Before using real data, we clarify access, approved services and the necessary data processing agreements. This also covers confidential source code, requirements and logs: we agree in advance which project content an AI service may process.

We prefer to work in your accounts and infrastructure. We clarify technical prerequisites, access and responsibilities before the project starts. Any alternative arrangements are expressly agreed.

The choice depends on your requirements and existing approvals. We are not tied to one provider. We consider development, testing and operation separately. For each phase, we agree suitable tools and which data and project content they may process.

My usual AI development tools are included in the agreed fee. Testing and operation preferably use your provider accounts and are billed directly to you. If we use my accounts, we agree an included testing budget. Additional usage requires prior agreement and is billed at documented cost. Specific requirements for development tools and their costs are addressed in the proposal.

We need someone who can make decisions and someone familiar with the process. For technical questions, we also need an IT contact. We agree meetings, sample data, access and your time commitment upfront.

We agree deliverables and test criteria before starting. At the end, we review the agreed results and discuss next steps. A prototype may also show that an idea should not be pursued. It is not automatically suitable for production; we document the steps needed to get there.

Handover of the agreed deliverables is included. Subsequent implementation, ongoing maintenance or operational support is agreed separately — with clear responsibilities, scope and costs.

The first 30-minute conversation is free. Before paid work begins, you receive a written proposal covering scope, deliverables and price. If further work is needed, we agree effort and costs before starting it.
